I drove him to the airport on 6, on a cloudy and rainy day. It was fifty-two degrees outside as I got into the car. I thought to myself how this whole ride is going to be the longest ride I have ever driven in my life and maybe even the toughest time I am ever going to be in. I am only 19 and I go to Campbell University, North Carolina. I am studying for a major in English Literature to become a 9th Grade English teacher. When I plan to graduate, I want to write a novel about my idyll childhood with a country theme to it. When I was younger, I lived with my mom and my step dad. I really didn't like who she married because he seemed like he meant everything to her. Sometimes, I thought she loved him more than me. We weren't very rich, if I didn't get a scholarship, I wouldn't been able to get into college. My mom was always working trying to make as much money as can to raise me. I was only a baby when my dad left my mom for another women. I haven’t met him in my whole life because my mom doesn’t want me to have to do anything with him. I hear that he has a family now and children. I wish I could ask him how could he leave a baby behind.
